Install the widget

Copy the snippet from your dashboard (Settings -> API Keys) and paste it before </body> on every page. The launcher appears immediately.

Identify logged-in users

Call window.LiveChat.identify({ name, email }) after your login flow. The widget skips the pre-chat form and attaches the identity to the conversation.

Send custom attributes

Call window.LiveChat.setAttributes({ plan: "pro", cartValue: 42 }) to attach scalar metadata visible in the visitor profile.

API keys

Keys start with pk_ and are workspace-scoped. Rotate or revoke them anytime from the dashboard; revocation disables the widget everywhere instantly.
